If you're a hardcore ice hockey or American football fan you know precisely what to expect from Madden NFL 21 and NHL 21. Star Wars Squadrons is our selection of the bunch, a first-person X-Wing and Tie Fighter game that we mentioned"did amazing things with all the Star Wars permit". It's amazing in VR however, even on a flat screen it is a wonderful chance to jump in the cockpit of an X-Wing, or conquer the Rebels if that's more your thing. We have just seen the trailer for It Takes Two, as the game is not out till late March but if you're a co-op aficionado it should be entertaining.
Why"three or even four matches"? We have not been at the gin back, but NHL 21 is not readily available for the PC. So while the rest of those titles must be playable on Xbox, Playstation and PC, PC-based hockey enthusiasts are out of luck.
I like American football games (I am even hoping to collect every one ever made); I am not very proficient at American football games. While I can generally hold my own against the computer, I've long suffered a painful relationship online, getting my ass kicked at every opportunity. I've won games in past instalments, but esophageal an 0-14 listing in Madden NFL 21's Ultimate Team manner, I set myself a target: win one match.
As a Brit, I've needed to understand the finer details of American football myself; the overarching tactics of soccer are second-nature to me, because I grew up in a country where the sport is a faith. But while NFL was growing in popularity here, I really don't have a lifetime of knowledge to draw upon; I didn't play gridiron at high-school, and I have only thought myself a fan for the last five years. Obviously, I know many of the basic approaches: running the chunk chews clock, Blitzes make sense in third-and-long scenarios, and you are likely to need to cheap Mut 22 coins use the sidelines in two-minute drills.
